Welcome!

Thanks for tuning in as we share with you a glimpse of our lives and our many crazy adventures. RJ and I … To say we love adventure is an understatement. From jumping on the motorcycle at midnight to grab pizza in 25* weather or planning a trip to visit every US capital, we love it.
We have so many stories like this, I figured I might as well blog about them. But first, a few fun facts about us—

FAST FACTS:

– RJ and I have been married for a little over a year and a half. We are loving every minute of it, even though he still hogs the entire bed and I still hate doing the dishes but hey… marriage.

– RJ is a software developer. Working in the family business along side his dad, RJ can access his work anywhere as long as he has his laptop and wifi. He loves his work and even in his free time, RJ likes to program.

– I, on the other hand, don’t know a freakin’ thing about programming. I would rather get lost in a good book, bake a delicious dessert, sew a blanket, drink coffee, or take a nap.

– We live on twenty-six acres off a beautiful windy road in the mountains, within walking distance of a gorgeous lake. Six goats, three dogs, a cat, and the BEST neighbors share the property with us.

– I have a little wiener dog, Scooter, who thinks he owns the property. Scooter loves anyone who gives him tummy rubs or feeds him milkbones. He also has his own Instagram account: @mr.scooterdicklesworth

– We sold RJ’s old motorcycle the beginning of the year and purchased a 2016 Kawasaki Versys 1000. We’ve put over 2k miles in these last few months (despite the inclimate weather) and can’t wait to add more! Moty (our affectionate name for our motorcycle) is where most of our adventures begin.

– Our next big adventure is to visit every state capital and the capitol buildings on our motorcycle. Two down, forty-eight to go.

We are leaving this weekend, on our motorcycle for Kansas, hitting several capitals on the way. We will be staying with my grandparents during the week, then traveling on the weekends to different state capitals, praying it doesn’t rain on us. If things go according to plan, we should be home by the end of May.

Stay tuned for our next blog post: Carson City, Nevada.

Cheers! -em
